Description

Motul SPECIFIC 17 FE 0W-20 is a fully synthetic engine oil from the Specific line, developed around a single car maker's standard. It is intended for modern petrol and diesel engines in Renault, Dacia and Samsung cars that need a fuel-saving oil.

It is rated ACEA C5 and holds official Renault RN17 FE approval.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 8.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 189, HTHS 2.7 mPa·s, pour point -48 °C, base number 8.7 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 0.80 %. Available in 5 litres.

The maker warns that RN17 FE is not backward compatible with the car maker's earlier standards: the oil is suitable only for engines where this approval is specifically prescribed.
