Description

Motul SPECIFIC 508 00 509 00 0W-20 is a fully synthetic engine oil from the Specific line, developed around individual car makers' standards. It targets the latest VW Group petrol and diesel engines and Porsche engines. The oil is green.

Rated ACEA C5 and API SP, it holds official VW 508.00, VW 509.00, Porsche C20 and Ford WSS-M2C956-A1 approvals.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 8.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 172, HTHS 2.6 mPa·s, pour point -45 °C, base number 9.6 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 0.78 %. Available in 1 and 5 litres.

VW 508.00 and VW 509.00 are not backward compatible, so it does not suit engines built to the group's earlier standards.

The latest VW Group petrol and diesel engines where the manufacturer requires VW 508.00 or VW 509.00, and engines for which Porsche C20 is specified.
