Description

Motul SPECIFIC A40 0W-40 is a fully synthetic, full-SAPS engine oil from the Specific line. It is intended for Porsche petrol engines and for other petrol engines that call for a 0W-40 of this level. The oil runs on all common fuels, including ethanol blends, LPG and CNG.

It holds official Porsche A40 approval and is rated ACEA A3/B4; the maker claims API SP as its performance level.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 13.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 182, HTHS 3.6 mPa·s, pour point -45 °C, base number 12.5 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 1.07 %. Available in 1, 5 and 208 litres.

Application

Porsche petrol engines where the manufacturer requires a Porsche A40 approved oil, and other petrol engines that call for a 0W-40 of ACEA A3/B4 or API SP level.
