Description

Castrol EDGE 0W-40 A3/B4 is a fully synthetic, full-SAPS oil in the EDGE range for highly rated petrol and diesel car engines.

It is rated API SP and ACEA A3/B4 and holds official Porsche A40, BMW Longlife-01, MB 229.5, Renault RN0700, Renault RN0710, VW 502.00 and VW 505.00 approvals. According to the manufacturer, it meets the requirements of MB 229.3 and Ford WSS-M2C937-A without formal approval.

Typical figures: 13.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, 76 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 180, sulphated ash 1.2 %, pour point -45 °C.
