Description

Shell Helix Ultra SP 0W-20 is a fully synthetic low-viscosity, low-ash oil for cars. It is intended for modern petrol engines, diesels with a particulate filter and engines running on LPG or natural gas.

The oil is rated API SP and ACEA C5, the latter a fuel-economy category. The maker lists no car-maker approvals, so it is used where the owner's handbook calls for exactly these classes.

Typical figures: 8 mm²/s at 100 °C, 42.1 mm²/s at 40 °C, pour point -54 °C, flash point 222 °C.

Application

Modern petrol cars, diesels with a particulate filter and LPG or CNG engines where the manufacturer requires API SP or ACEA C5.
