Description
Shell Helix Ultra SN PLUS 0W-20 is a fully synthetic oil from the Helix Ultra line for petrol engines, chiefly turbocharged direct-injection units that need protection against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI).
The oil is rated API SN, SN Plus and ILSAC GF-5 and holds the official Chrysler MS-6395 approval. It meets the requirements of GM dexos1 Gen 2 without an official approval, which is why the maker lists it for GM engines with that requirement.
Typical figures: 8.60 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 182, pour point -48 °C, flash point 204 °C.
Application
Petrol engines, especially turbocharged direct-injection ones that need protection against LSPI; GM engines that call for dexos1 Gen 2.
