Description

Shell Helix Ultra ECT C6 0W-20 is a fully synthetic low-viscosity oil, low in sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur, for petrol and diesel car engines with a particulate filter and catalytic converter. It is formulated for fuel economy, protects turbocharged direct-injection engines against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) and suits many hybrids.

The oil is rated ACEA C5, ACEA C6, API SP and ILSAC GF-6A and holds official BMW Longlife-17 FE+, MB 229.71 and MB 229.72 approvals. It meets the requirements of Fiat 9.55535-CR1, Fiat 9.55535-GSX and Ford WSS-M2C954-A1 without formal approval.

Typical figures: 7.9 mm²/s at 100 °C, 40.3 mm²/s at 40 °C, pour point -51 °C, flash point 237 °C.

Application

Modern petrol and diesel car engines with exhaust after-treatment, including turbocharged direct-injection petrol engines; suitable for many hybrids.
