  12. What oil should you put in a Mercedes?

Automotive oils for passenger cars with an extended oil-change interval (up to 30,000 km, as per the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations), meeting heightened environmental requirements. The requirements are somewhat higher than those of the ACEA A3, B4 standards.

Compared with MB 229.3, they deliver a fuel saving of at least 1.8%. The approval was introduced in the summer of 2002, recommended for the following MB engine series: diesel OM600 (except models fitted with a particulate filter), petrol M100 and M200.
