Description

77 Lubricants Motor Oil DX1 5W-30 is a synthetic engine oil from the Motor Oil DX1 line for modern high-output petrol engines, turbocharged ones included, in cars, SUVs and light trucks.

It is rated API SQ, SP and SN RC, and ILSAC GF-7A. It holds no official approvals; the maker states that it meets the requirements of GM dexos1 Gen 3, GM 4718M and GM 6094M, Ford WSS-M2C961-A1, Chrysler MS-6395 and Chrysler MS-13340.

The formulation protects against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) and is compatible with fuel containing up to 85 % ethanol (E85).

Typical data-sheet figures: kinematic viscosity 10.6 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 171, pour point -39 °C, base number 8.4 mg KOH/g.
