Description

77 Lubricants Motor Oil VX 5W-30 is a fully synthetic mid-SAPS engine oil for petrol and diesel cars and vans, suited to extended drain intervals where the car maker allows them. It is compatible with particulate filters and three-way catalytic converters.

The oil is rated API SP and ACEA C3 and holds official VW 504.00, VW 507.00 and MB 229.52 approvals. It meets the requirements of MB 229.51, BMW Longlife-04, Porsche C30 and Opel OV0401547 without formal approval. The data sheet also allows it in VW pump-injector diesels originally specified for an oil to the earlier Longlife standard.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 12.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 174, pour point -36 °C, sulphated ash 0.7 %.
