Description

BP Vanellus Multi-Fleet Plus 15W-40 is a mid-ash Vanellus engine oil for mixed fleets of Euro 3 and many Euro 4 engines.

It is rated ACEA E7 and API CI-4 Plus, CI-4, CH-4, CG-4 and CF-4 and holds official approvals Volvo VDS-3, Renault Trucks RLD-2, Mack EO-N Premium Plus, CAT ECF-2, Cummins CES 20077, Cummins CES 20078, DDC Powerguard 93K214, Deutz DQC III-18, DTFR 15B110 and MTU Oil Category 2. It also meets MAN M 3275-1 without formal approval.

Typical figures: 15.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 141, base number 10.9 mg KOH/g, pour point -45 °C.

With 1.4 % sulphated ash, the maker does not approve it for engines with particulate filters.

Application

Truck and bus diesels in mixed fleets covering Euro 3 engines and a large share of Euro 4 engines. Not for engines with particulate filters.
