Description
Liqui Moly MoS2 Low-Friction 15W-40 is an engine oil with the solid lubricant molybdenum disulphide (MoS2). It is intended for petrol, diesel and turbocharged engines, including extended drain intervals and severe operating conditions.
It holds no official approvals; the manufacturer gives recommendations only, to ACEA A3/B4 and API SL.
Typical figures: viscosity 14.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 145, HTHS at least 3.5 mPa·s, base number 10.4, NOACK 9 %, sulphated ash 1.0-1.6 %. Pour point -33 °C. Pack sizes from 1 to 205 litres.
