Description

Castrol VECTON Long Drain 10W-40 E8/E11 is a fully synthetic low-ash oil for extended drain intervals; with sulphated ash below 1 %, it is compatible with particulate filters.

Classifications: ACEA E6, E7, E8, E9 and E11, API CK-4, JASO DH-2. Official approvals: CAT ECF-3, Cummins CES 20086, DDC DFS 93K222, Deutz DQC IV-18 LA, DTFR 15C100, DTFR 15C110, DTFR 15C120, Mack EOS-4.5, MAN M 3775, MTU Oil Category 3.1, Renault Trucks RLD-3, Volvo CNG and Volvo VDS-4.5. Castrol itself states that it meets DAF Euro VI, MAN M 3271-1, MAN M 3271-3, MAN M 3477 and Iveco requirements, without official approval.

Typical figures: 14.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 148, base number 8.3 mg KOH/g.
