Description
Elf Evolution 700 ST 15W-50 is a semi-synthetic engine oil for petrol and diesel passenger car engines in town, on open roads and at motorway speeds. Its higher hot-viscosity grade keeps a strong oil film at high temperatures.
The oil is rated ACEA A3/B4, API SN and API CF and holds official VW 501.01 and VW 505.00 approvals. It meets the requirements of MB 229.1 without official approval.
Typical data-sheet figures: 18.7 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 147, pour point -30 °C. Available in 1, 4, 5 and 208 litre packs. The manufacturer credits it with strong detergency and resistance to black sludge.
