Description
Liqui Moly Molygen 15W-50 is a multi-purpose engine oil with the Molygen anti-friction additive for petrol and diesel engines, with or without a turbocharger and with or without a catalytic converter.
It holds no official approvals: the manufacturer gives recommendations only, namely ACEA A3/B3 and API SJ and the requirements of MB 229.1, VW 501.01 and VW 505.00.
Typical figures: viscosity 17.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 145, HTHS above 3.5 mPa·s, NOACK 12 %, sulphated ash 0.9-1.5 %. Pour point -24 °C. Pack sizes 1 and 4 litres.
