Description

Elf Tranself Syn FE 75W-140 is a Tranself gear oil for heavily loaded manual gearboxes and differentials, synthetic according to its maker. It makes cold gear changes easier while still protecting components that run hot.

It meets API GL-5 and holds official Scania STO 1:0 approval. Extreme-pressure and anti-wear additives protect the gearing, and the oil film stays shear-stable at high speeds; the oil is also suitable for units fitted with oil filters.

Typical figures: viscosity 26.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 178, pour point -36 °C. Available in 1-litre packs.

Application

Heavily loaded manual gearboxes and drive-axle differentials that need easy gear changes in the cold and protection for components running hot.
