Description

Eni Rotra Truck Gear 75W-140 is a synthetic gear oil from the Rotra line for the gearboxes and axles of heavy lorries and working machinery. Its wide viscosity range eases cold starts and suits extended drain intervals.

It is rated API GL-4, GL-5 and MT-1 and meets SAE J2360 and MIL-PRF-2105E. It holds no official approvals; according to its maker, it meets the requirements of Scania STO 2:0 A FS, Mack GO-J, ZF TE-ML 05B, 07A, 12B, 12N, 16F and 21B.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 28.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 170, pour point -45 °C, flash point 200 °C, density 885 kg/m³ and low-temperature viscosity 145,000 mPa·s at -40 °C.

Application

Transmissions and axles of heavy road vehicles and working machinery under extreme loads and temperatures, Scania vehicles in particular, and any unit calling for GL-4 or GL-5.
