Description
Fuchs TITAN SUPERSYN 5W-50 is a synthetic engine oil from the TITAN SUPERSYN line with a higher viscosity at operating temperature. It is intended for petrol and diesel engines in passenger cars where the vehicle manufacturer permits a 5W-50 grade.
The oil holds no official vehicle manufacturer approvals. FUCHS gives ACEA A3/B4, API SL and API CF as its own recommendations rather than certified ratings.
Typical data-sheet figures: 18.1 mm²/s at 100 °C and 111.5 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 179, HTHS viscosity at least 3.5 mPa·s, sulphated ash 1.0-1.6 %, pour point -42 °C.
