Description
Liqui Moly Formula Super 5W-40 is a synthetic full-SAPS multigrade oil for petrol and diesel engines, both naturally aspirated and turbocharged.
It carries ACEA A3/B4 and API SN/CF. It holds no official carmaker approvals; the manufacturer states that it meets the requirements of MB 229.3, VW 502.00 and VW 505.00.
Typical figures: 13.9 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 170, HTHS above 3.5 mPa·s, NOACK 11 %, base number 11 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 1.0-1.6 %, pour point -36 °C. Available in 1, 5 and 205 litre packs.
