Description

Liqui Moly Hypoid Gear Oil (GL5) SAE 85W-90 is a mineral gear oil for heavily loaded vehicle transmissions, above all hypoid final drives. It contains no limited-slip additive.

It carries API GL-5 and holds official approvals MB 235.0H, MIL-L-2105D, DTFR 12B100 and ZF TE-ML 16C, ZF TE-ML 17B, ZF TE-ML 19B and ZF TE-ML 21A (approval number ZF000695). It meets the requirements of MAN 342 Type M1 without official approval.

Typical figures: 17.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 97, pour point -18 °C. Available in 0.5, 1, 20, 60 and 205 litre packs.

Application

Heavily loaded vehicle transmissions, above all hypoid final drives.
