Description

Mobil Super 3000 Formula M 5W-30 is an engine oil with a full level of ash-forming additives (full SAPS) for petrol and diesel Mercedes-Benz cars without a particulate filter. It suits both extended change intervals and regions where fuel has a high sulphur content.

It holds official MB 229.3 and MB 229.5 approvals. The data sheet gives no ACEA or API classes.

Typical figures: viscosity 12.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 159, pour point -42 °C, flash point 240 °C.

The oil is not intended for engines with a particulate filter, and extended intervals apply only where Mercedes-Benz permits them.

Application

Petrol and diesel Mercedes-Benz cars without a particulate filter, including on extended change intervals and in regions with high-sulphur fuel.
