Description

Aral HighTronic M 5W-40 is a synthetic-based, full-ash engine oil for petrol and diesel passenger cars working under severe conditions. Aral names Mercedes-Benz petrol models, most AMG and Brabus models, and VW Group engines as applications.

It is classified API SP and ACEA A3/B4 and holds official BMW Longlife-01, MB 226.5, MB 229.3, MB 229.5, Porsche A40, Renault RN0700, Renault RN0710, VW 502.00 and VW 505.00 approvals.

Typical figures from the data sheet: kinematic viscosity 13.4 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 170, sulphated ash 1.2 %. Pack sizes from 1 to 208 litres.

In Aral's own words, the oil is not intended for diesel engines with a particulate filter.

Application

Petrol and diesel passenger cars under severe operating conditions, including Mercedes-Benz petrol models and diesels without a particulate filter, most AMG and Brabus models, and VW Group engines.
