Motul 4000 MOTION 10W-30

Description

Motul 4000 MOTION 10W-30 is a mineral engine oil from the 4000 line with a low HTHS viscosity for fuel economy. It is intended for carburetted and injected petrol engines with a catalytic converter, and for car diesels, where the maker specifies this class of oil.

The oil is rated ACEA A1/B1 and API SL/CF; the data sheet lists no car-maker approvals. According to Motul, it can be mixed with other mineral and synthetic oils.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 12.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 145, pour point -27 °C, base number 8.8 mg KOH/g. Available in 1 and 5 litres.

It is suitable only for engines that accept ACEA A1/B1 oils.

Application

Cars with petrol engines, carburetted or injected with a catalytic converter, and with diesel engines, where the maker specifies a low-HTHS 10W-30 oil at ACEA A1/B1 level.
