Description
Motul 4000 MOTION 15W-50 is a mineral engine oil from the 4000 line for petrol and diesel car engines, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, carburetted or injected. Motul also aims it at older cars and high-mileage engines. It runs on petrol, ethanol, LPG, diesel and biofuels.
The oil is rated ACEA A3/B3 and API SN. The data sheet lists no official approvals: it meets the requirements of MB 229.1H without formal approval.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 19.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 151, pour point -27 °C, base number 8 mg KOH/g. Available in 1 and 5 litres.
