Description
Motul 6100 SAVE-LITE 0W-20 is a synthetic fuel-saving engine oil from the 6100 range, built on a Technosynthese base. It is designed for modern petrol and petrol-hybrid engines built for low-HTHS oils, and it protects against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI).
The oil is rated API SP and ILSAC GF-6A; the data sheet lists no manufacturer approvals.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 8.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 165, HTHS viscosity 2.7 mPa·s, pour point -48 °C, sulphated ash 0.72 %. Available in 1 and 4 litre packs.
It is for petrol engines only.
Application
Modern petrol and petrol-hybrid engines where the manufacturer calls for an API SP or ILSAC GF-6A oil with low HTHS viscosity.
