Description

Motul 8100 POWER 0W-20 is a fully synthetic, ester-based engine oil from the 8100 range, developed with experience drawn from motorsport. It is intended for high-performance petrol and diesel engines operating across a wide range of engine speeds and temperatures.

The oil is rated API SP; the data sheet lists no manufacturer approvals.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 8.7 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 161, HTHS viscosity 2.7 mPa·s, pour point -48 °C, sulphated ash 0.79 %. Available in 1 and 5 litre packs.

It suits only modern engines designed for 0W-20 and is aimed at spirited driving and track days rather than extended change intervals.

Application

High-performance passenger cars with petrol or diesel engines driven hard, including occasional track use, where an API SP 0W-20 oil is permitted.
