Description
Motul 8100 ECO-LITE 0W-16 is a fully synthetic ultra-low-viscosity engine oil from the 8100 range. It is designed for modern petrol and hybrid engines whose manufacturer explicitly specifies the 0W-16 grade, above all Toyota, Lexus, Honda and Suzuki.
The oil is rated API SQ RC and ILSAC GF-7B; the data sheet lists no manufacturer approvals.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 7.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 159, HTHS viscosity 2.3 mPa·s, pour point -42 °C, sulphated ash 0.85 %. Available in a 5 litre pack.
It is unsuitable for engines designed for thicker oils and should be used only where the manufacturer permits 0W-16.
Application
Modern petrol and hybrid engines for which the manufacturer specifies SAE 0W-16, mainly Toyota, Lexus, Honda and Suzuki.
