Description

Motul 8100 ECO-CLEAN 0W-20 is a fully synthetic low-viscosity engine oil from the 8100 range. It is intended for the latest petrol and diesel car engines built for low-HTHS oils.

It is rated ACEA C5, ACEA C6, API SQ and ILSAC GF-7A. Official approvals cover BMW Longlife-17 FE+, MB 229.71, MB 229.72, Opel OV0401547-A20 and JLR STJLR.03.5006; it meets the requirements of Fiat 9.55535-DSX, Fiat 9.55535-GSX, Chrysler MS-12145, Ford WSS-M2C947-B1, Ford WSS-M2C954-A1 and Ford WSS-M2C962-A1 without formal approval.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 177, HTHS viscosity 3 mPa·s, pour point -48 °C, sulphated ash 0.77 %. Available in 1, 5 and 60 litre packs.

It suits only engines built for such low viscosity.

Application

The latest petrol and diesel passenger car engines that need ACEA C5 or C6 together with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Opel or Jaguar Land Rover approvals.
