Description

Mobil 1 ESP X2 0W-20 is a fully synthetic, low-viscosity oil in the Mobil 1 range for the latest petrol, diesel and hybrid engines, and it is compatible with exhaust after-treatment systems.

It carries official VW 508.00, VW 509.00, MB 229.71, Porsche C20 and GM dexosD approvals and is rated ACEA C5 and C6 as well as API SQ, SP, SN and SL.

Typical figures: 8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 180, HTHS 2.6 mPa·s, sulphated ash 0.8 %, pour point -60 °C. ExxonMobil claims fuel savings of up to 4 % against a more viscous oil.

The oil is not backward-compatible: it goes only into engines for which the car maker has explicitly approved this viscosity.

Application

New petrol, diesel and hybrid engines in European passenger cars whose maker explicitly releases 0W-20 and calls for VW 508.00/509.00, MB 229.71 or Porsche C20.
