Description

Shell Rimula R6 LME 5W-30 is a synthetic low-ash oil from the Rimula line with an emphasis on fuel economy. It is intended for Mercedes-Benz, DAF and other trucks and buses with Euro 4-Euro 6 engines on extended drains, and for fleets that also run Euro 2-Euro 5 engines.

The oil is rated ACEA E6 and E7 and holds official approvals Cummins CES 20077, Deutz DQC IV-10 LA, DTFR 15C110, Mack EO-N, MTU Oil Category 3.1, Renault Trucks RLD-2 and Volvo VDS-3, and meets Iveco 18-1804 TLS E6, MAN M 3271-1 and MAN M 3477 without approval.

Typical figures: 12.13 mm²/s at 100 °C, base number 10.2 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 1.00 %, pour point -50 °C.

Application

Mercedes-Benz, DAF and other trucks and buses with Euro 4-Euro 6 engines on extended drain intervals, and mixed fleets with Euro 2-Euro 5 engines.
