Description
Eni Rotra MP DB 85W-90 is a gear oil from the Rotra line for heavily loaded gear sets, hypoid gears and differentials exposed to shock loads. Its extreme-pressure additives protect hypoid axles.
The oil is rated API GL-5 and meets MIL-L-2105D; it holds no official carmaker approvals.
Typical figures: viscosity 180 mm²/s at 40 °C and 16 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 95, pour point -24 °C, flash point 215 °C, density 905 kg/m³ and low-temperature viscosity 130,000 mPa·s at -12 °C.
