Description

Castrol GTX 10W-40 A3/B4 is a full-SAPS oil in the GTX range for petrol and diesel engines in older-generation and high-mileage cars that have no particulate filter.

It is rated ACEA A3/B4 and API SP and holds official Renault RN0700, Renault RN0710, VW 501.01 and VW 505.00 approvals. According to the manufacturer, it meets the requirements of Fiat 9.55535-D2, Fiat 9.55535-G2, MB 226.5 and MB 229.3 without formal approval.

Typical figures: 14.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, 97 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 151, sulphated ash 1.2 %, pour point -39 °C.
