Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40

Description

Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 is a fully synthetic oil for petrol, diesel and gas engines in cars without a particulate filter. It protects turbocharged direct-injection petrol engines against LSPI and suits many hybrids.

The oil is rated API SP, ACEA A3/B3 and ACEA A3/B4 and holds official MB 226.5, MB 229.5, VW 502.00, VW 505.00, BMW Longlife-01, Porsche A40, Renault RN0700, Renault RN0710, PSA B71 2296, Stellantis FPW9.55535/10, Chrysler MS-10725 and Chrysler MS-12991 approvals. It meets the requirements of Fiat 9.55535-N2 and Fiat 9.55535-Z2 without formal approval.

Typical figures: 12.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 170, pour point -36 °C.

As a full-SAPS oil, it is not intended for diesels with a particulate filter.

Application

Petrol, diesel and gas engines in cars without a particulate filter, including turbocharged direct-injection petrol engines; suitable for many hybrids.
