Description

Castrol EDGE 0W-30 is a fully synthetic, mid-SAPS oil in the EDGE range for petrol and diesel car engines with exhaust after-treatment, including those with a particulate filter. A single oil covers the requirements of two ACEA categories.

It is rated API SP and ACEA C2 and C3, and holds official BMW Longlife-04, BMW Longlife-19 FE, MB 226.5, MB 229.31, MB 229.51, Opel OV0401547-D30, Opel OV0401547-G30, Renault RN0700 and Renault RN0710 approvals.

Typical figures: 12.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, 68 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 182, sulphated ash 0.8 %, pour point -45 °C.

Application

Petrol and diesel cars with exhaust after-treatment that call for ACEA C2 or C3, BMW Longlife-04, Longlife-19 FE, or MB 229.31 or 229.51.
