Description

Motul NGEN 4 10W-40 is a full-SAPS synthetic engine oil from the NGEN line; part of its base oil is re-refined, and its can is made from plastic that is half recycled. It is intended for the petrol and diesel engines of passenger cars.

It meets ACEA A3/B4 and API SP and holds official VW 501.01, VW 505.00, Renault RN0700 and Renault RN0710 approvals. It meets the requirements of MB 229.3 and PSA B71 2300 without official approval.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 14.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 160, pour point -42 °C, flash point 222 °C, base number 10.1 mg KOH/g. Available in 1 to 208 litres.

Application

Petrol and diesel engines in passenger cars for which the manufacturer specifies a full-SAPS ACEA A3/B4 oil.
