Description
Motul GEAR COMPETITION 75W-140 is a fully synthetic racing gear oil. It is intended for hypoid axles and gearboxes with a limited-slip differential, and for highly loaded transmissions in circuit racing, rally and rally-raid cars; the maker mentions Hewland and X-Trac gearboxes among others.
The oil is rated API GL-5; the maker states that its performance exceeds the requirements of this category. The data sheet lists no car-maker approvals. The heavy 140 grade is designed for high temperatures and shock loads.
