Description

Shell Rimula R6 MS 10W-40 is a Rimula engine oil for truck diesel engines on extended drain intervals, Scania engines included.

Classes: ACEA E4 and E7, API CF. Approvals: Deutz DQC IV-18, DTFR 15B120, Mack EO-N, MAN M 3277, MTU Oil Category 3, Renault Trucks RLD-2 and Renault Trucks RXD, Scania LDF-2 and Scania LDF-3, Volvo VDS-3. The oil meets Iveco T3 E4 without a formal approval.

Typical figures: 13.6 mm²/s at 100 °C, base number 15.9 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 1.9 %, pour point -42 °C, flash point 234 °C. The maker does not recommend it for Caterpillar engines.

Application

Euro 2 to Euro 5 truck engines without a particulate filter and Euro 6 Scania engines: Mercedes-Benz, MAN, DAF, Volvo, Scania and other makes.
