Description

Motul 6100 SYN-NERGY 5W-40 is a synthetic full-SAPS engine oil from the 6100 line for high-output petrol and diesel cars, also suitable for LPG and biofuels.

The oil is rated ACEA A3/B4 and API SN. There are no official approvals; the maker claims compliance with MB 229.5, VW 502.00, VW 505.00, BMW Longlife-01, Porsche A40, Renault RN0700, Renault RN0710, PSA B71 2296, Fiat 9.55535-H2, Fiat 9.55535-M2, Fiat 9.55535-N2, Fiat 9.55535-Z2, Chrysler MS-10725, Chrysler MS-10896 and Chrysler MS-12991.

Typical figures: viscosity 14.6 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 170, HTHS 3.7 mPa·s, sulphated ash 1.10 %. Available in 1 to 208 litres.

It does not suit VW unit-injector diesels with their own specification.

Application

High-output petrol and diesel car engines of European and American makes, including VW Group, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Fiat, Chrysler, Porsche and Renault, that need an ACEA A3/B4 oil.
