Description

Motul HYBRID 0W-20 is a fully synthetic, fuel-saving engine oil from the Hybrid line. It is intended for the petrol engines of hybrid and plug-in hybrid passenger cars and for generator engines, and is designed for the operating pattern typical of hybrids.

The oil meets API SN RC and ILSAC GF-5; no car-maker approvals are listed.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 8.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 168, HTHS 2.6 mPa·s, pour point -36 °C, base number 8.5 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 0.89 %. Available in 1 and 4 litres.

Use it only where the manufacturer specifies 0W-20.

Application

Petrol engines in hybrid and plug-in hybrid cars, and petrol generator engines, where the manufacturer (Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Kia) specifies a fuel-saving SAE 0W-20 oil.
