Description

Motul HYBRID 0W-16 is a fully synthetic engine oil from the Hybrid line for the petrol engines of hybrid and plug-in hybrid passenger cars, and for the generator engines that extend the range of electric cars.

According to the technical data sheet, the oil meets API SN; no car-maker approvals are listed.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 7.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 160, HTHS 2.3 mPa·s, pour point -42 °C, base number 8.5 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 0.89 %. Available in 1 and 4 litres.

Use it only in engines for which the manufacturer specifies 0W-16.

Application

Petrol engines in hybrid and plug-in hybrid cars, and petrol range-extender engines in electric cars, where the manufacturer (Honda, Toyota, Suzuki) specifies an SAE 0W-16 oil.
