Description

Motul 8100 X-CLEAN+ 5W-30 is a fully synthetic mid-SAPS engine oil from the 8100 line. It is intended for Euro 4-6 petrol and diesel engines, above all in cars from the VW Group, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche.

It is rated ACEA C3 and holds official VW 504.00, VW 507.00, BMW Longlife-04, MB 229.51 and Porsche C30 approvals. It is compatible with particulate filters and catalytic converters and suits flexible extended drain intervals wherever the manufacturer's approval allows them.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 11.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 167, HTHS 3.5 mPa·s, pour point -36 °C, base number 6.7 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 0.68 %. Available in 1 to 208 litres.

Application

Euro 4-6 petrol and diesel engines, chiefly in VW Group, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche cars, where the manufacturer requires VW 504.00 and VW 507.00 or an equivalent low-SAPS oil.
