Description

Elf Sporti 7 A3/B4 10W-40 is a Sporti engine oil for cars and light vans, semi-synthetic as its maker describes it, suited to any climate and severe duty. The maker says it eases cold starts and keeps hydraulic tappets quiet.

The oil is rated API SN, API CF and ACEA A3/B4. It meets the requirements of VW 501.01, VW 505.00, MB 229.3, Renault RN0700, Renault RN0710, PSA B71 2294, PSA B71 2300 and Fiat 9.55535-G2 without official approvals.

Typical data-sheet figures: viscosity 14.7 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 156, pour point -39 °C. Available in 1 and 5 litre packs.

Being full-ash, it does not suit diesels with a particulate filter needing a low-ash oil.

Application

Petrol engines with or without a catalytic converter and diesel engines with or without turbocharging in cars and light vans, across a range of climates and under severe duty.
