Description

Liqui Moly Dual Clutch Transmission Oil 8100 is a fluid for automated gearboxes with two wet clutches. The data sheet gives hydrocracked base oils.

It has no car-maker approvals; the manufacturer claims compliance with BMW DCTF-1, BMW DCTF-1+ and BMW DCTF-2, VW G 052 182 and VW G 052 529, MB 236.21, MB 236.22 and MB 236.24, Ford WSS-M2C936-A, Renault DW5 and Renault DW6, PSA 9734 S2, Volvo 1161838, Porsche 999.917.080.00 and ZF TE-ML 11, and several factory part numbers.

Typical figures: viscosity 6.6 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 175, pour point -48 °C. Pack sizes from 1 to 205 litres. It is only for gearboxes where the car maker specifies this type of DCT fluid.

Application

Wet dual-clutch gearboxes in which the clutches, synchronisers, gears and hydraulics share one oil supply: six- and seven-speed VW Group DSG units, BMW DCT, Ford PowerShift, Renault EDC, and Getrag and Porsche units.
