Description

Liqui Moly Molygen New Generation 10W-40 is a full-SAPS engine oil for petrol and diesel car engines, containing the Molygen additive, which the manufacturer says reduces friction.

It carries ACEA A3 and B4 and API SN. The manufacturer lists no official approvals for it; instead it states that the oil meets the requirements of MB 229.3, VW 501.01 and VW 505.00, PSA B71 2300, Renault RN0700 and Renault RN0710 and Fiat 9.55535-G2, and the recommendations of GWM, HAVAL and Wuling.

Typical figures: viscosity 14.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 155, HTHS at least 3.5 mPa·s. Pack sizes from 1 to 205 litres. With sulphated ash of 1.0-1.6 %, it is unsuitable where a low-SAPS oil is required.

Application

Petrol engines and passenger-car diesel engines, turbocharged or not, where an ACEA A3 and B4 oil is permitted.
