Description

Mobil 1 FS 5W-30 is a fully synthetic full-SAPS oil (ACEA A3/B4 level) in the Mobil 1 range for high-performance petrol and diesel engines in European cars.

It holds official VW 502.00, VW 505.00, MB 229.3, MB 229.5, BMW Longlife-01, Renault RN0700 and Renault RN0710 approvals. The oil is rated ACEA A3/B4, API SL and CF; according to the data sheet it also passes the API SP and SQ engine tests.

Typical figures: 12.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, 71.8 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 168, pour point -39 °C. The maker notes extra protection when fuel quality is inconsistent.

Application

High-performance petrol and diesel engines in European cars, notably VW Group, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Renault, where the maker requires the approvals this oil holds.
