Description

Liqui Moly Optimal Synth 5W-30 is a full-SAPS engine oil on a hydrocracked base for passenger-car petrol and diesel engines, including multi-valve and turbocharged units, and for cars running on CNG or LPG. It is suitable for extended drain intervals where the vehicle manufacturer allows them.

It carries ACEA A3/B4 but holds no official approvals: the manufacturer recommends it where API SP/CF, MB 229.3, VW 502.00, VW 505.00, BMW Longlife-98, GM-LL-A-025, GM-LL-B-025, Renault RN0700 and Renault RN0710 are required, and for several Asian and American makes.

Typical figures: 11.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 165, HTHS at least 3.5 mPa·s, pour point -36 °C, sulphated ash 1.0-1.6 %. Pack sizes from 1 to 205 litres.

Application

Passenger-car petrol and diesel engines, multi-valve and turbocharged, and cars running on CNG or LPG, including extended drain intervals where the vehicle manufacturer allows them.
