Description

Motul 300V TROPHY 0W-40 AP is a fully synthetic, ester-based racing oil from the 300V line (Motul ESTER Core technology). It is intended for race-prepared petrol and diesel engines operating over a wide range of engine speeds and temperatures.

Motul lists no API or ACEA categories and no car-maker approvals, stating that the oil goes beyond current motorsport standards.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 13.6 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 186, HTHS 3.9 mPa·s, pour point -51 °C, base number 8.2 mg KOH/g. Available in 2 litres.

This is an oil for competition use, so the choice should be agreed with the engine builder.
