Description

Motul POWER SUV 5W-30 is a fully synthetic engine oil from the Power line for SUVs whose petrol and diesel engines have a particulate filter. It is designed for town and off-road use.

According to the technical data sheet, the oil meets API SP and ACEA C3; no car-maker approvals are listed. Its mid-SAPS additive content makes it compatible with petrol and diesel particulate filters. Motul states that it protects against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) and timing-chain wear and is suitable for LPG, CNG and ethanol up to E85.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 12.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 171, base number 8.1 mg KOH/g. Available in 7 litres.
