Description
Eni Rotra Truck Gear 85W-140 is a gear oil from the Rotra line for the manual gearboxes and hypoid axles of lorries working under heavy load. It is compatible with synchroniser materials and seals.
The oil is rated API GL-4, API GL-5 and API MT-1 and meets SAE J2360. It holds no official approvals; according to its maker, it meets the requirements of Scania STO 1:0, ZF TE-ML 02B, 05A, 07A, 12E, 16D and 21A.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 28.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 140, pour point -30 °C, flash point 210 °C, density 910 kg/m³ and low-temperature viscosity 30,000 mPa·s at -12 °C.
