Description

Liqui Moly Top-up Oil 5W-30 is a synthetic mid-SAPS engine oil for topping up petrol and diesel engines, including common rail and unit-injector designs and engines with a particulate filter. It can be mixed with other engine oils.

It carries API SQ, ACEA C2 and ACEA C3 and holds official BMW Longlife-04, MB 229.31, MB 229.51 and MB 229.52 approvals. The manufacturer states that it meets VW 505.00, VW 505.01, GM dexos2, Ford WSS-M2C917-A, Opel OV0401547-G30, Opel OV0401547-D30, Fiat 9.55535-S1 and Fiat 9.55535-S3 without formal approval.

Typical figures: viscosity 12.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 170, HTHS at least 3.5 mPa·s, sulphated ash up to 0.8 %, NOACK 9.0 %, pour point -39 °C. Sold only in 1-litre bottles.
